Obituary
Jeremy Robert Shultz, 37, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on the morning of January 28, 2011. The relatives and friends of Jeremy Shultz are invited to attend a celebration of his life in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Stuhr’s Northwoods Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Jeremy was born on February 12, 1973 in Doylestown, PA, son of James Foster Shultz, Sr. and Barbara Harris. He was a graduate of Goose Creek High School and a sports cameraman for the CBS, ESPN and Fox networks.
He is survived by his immediate family, Dallas Foster Shultz, Cinnamin R. Hernandez, and Maryann T. Hernandez, all of the home in Goose Creek, SC; his father, James Foster Shultz, Sr. of North Charleston, SC; his mother, Barbara Harris and step-father, Bucky Harris of Goose Creek, SC; his brother, James Foster Shultz, Jr.; and his sisters, Rachel Harris Campbell and her husband Mike of Hollywood, SC and Rebecca Harris Ard and her husband Chris of Moncks Corner, SC.

Jeremy Shultz Succumbs to Injuries

Freelance cameraman Jeremy Shultz, 37, died today. He had been fighting to overcome second- and third-degree burns over 91% of his body, which he sustained protecting his family from a fire at his home in South Carolina on Dec. 30.
Well known for his work on the NFL, college football, and college basketball for CBS Sports and ESPN, Shultz was a highly respected member of the sports-broadcasting community. He is survived by his long-time companion, Maryann; their 4-year-old son, Dallas; and Maryann’s 11-year-old daughter, Cinnamin.
In an effort to help Shultz’s family in this crisis, a tax-deductible fund has been set up. Jeremy’s Fund, a designated fund of the Alma Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, is requesting that checks be sent to the following address:
